Are you asking if Creative Cloud contains Lightroom 4?  No. 

Creative Cloud contains the latest versions of Lightroom -- 2015 and 2017.

 

Perhaps you're asking something different?

Excuse me. I don't mean to be rude but my problem was not solved, so why would any answer be marked correct.

CS3 Reactivation

CS3 came up today with a message requiring reactivation. CS3 activation servers have been discontinued.  As per online instructions, we obtained new CS3 Serial number, de-installed CS3, reinstalled as per instructions.  We still get a message indicated we need to activate, but there does not seem to be a way to activate.  How do we use the new CS3 serial number provided and activate?

The information on the CS3 new serial number says that loading the new version will not require activation, but we still get the activation screen and the message that the activation server is no longer available.  How do we install the new version with the new serial number?

The note on the newly assigned CS3 serial number says that we will need the new number during the installation.  However, the installation never asked for the new serial number.  Once the install is completed, it asks that we reactivate which is not possible because the CS3 activation server is no longer available.

Why the 'unknown by' title and my user name displayed for shared links?

My question relates to shared public links from CC by my team.

 

Every public link shows my user name, which I changed from my name to our company name.

 

Why does every links state the title 'unknown by' next to my user name, has there been an update to the UI for shared links because last time I looked the screen design was very black and not white. The new white UI isn't as user friendly as the previous one, graphics don't fit the screen and you have to scroll down through items.

 

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Caroline,

 

You should be able to insert your (then) Adobe ID on the My Products page regardless of which computer/whatever you try from.

 

In addition to what Nancy said, if you are unable to find the serial number/registration key, with the proof of purchase, or an Adobe ID, you may try a chat here or here (just click the Still need help button straight away),

Two Adobe ID

Hi,

I have two different adobe ID: one with my personal email and the second one with my university email.

I have on the first the license for Photoshop, on the second the license for Illustrator.

I was wondering how I can pool them and use Illustrator and Photoshop from one single account.

just because you aren't paying money doesn't mean you don't have a sign in and a 'free' account. if you can still sign in you have some sort of an account, right? if someone is able to post in here they still have an account. I want my email sign in password etc wiped gone, deleted the way you can any other place, including email Facebook etc.

I was stuck and not able to update any of the CC apps (but all the apps worked), then after reading an apparently false claim of compatibility, decided to update to Sierra (big mistake). Anyway, after uninstalling all Adobe CC apps and running Creative Cloud Cleaner, giving admin rights to user, creating new user and permissions clean up, still nothing.

 

Finally, this worked:

Installing Creative Cloud on macOS 10.12 (Sierra)

 

 

It makes you run the CC installer in terminal. Finally I was able to install the newest 2017 Adobe Creative Cloud, download the Apps like Photoshop, etc. right there from CC App.

 

This whole thing took me two days away from productivity. What a pain. Thanks Adobe!

Canadian in Mexico. Will I have problems using my CC account?

I'm travelling to Mexico for vacation and will be doing a little work. Will I have problems using my CC account? I will be connecting via a different IP address, so am wondering.

I don't think it matters which internet service you use since CC is tied to your Adobe ID and password.

Ridiculous Cancelation Policy/Charges

Adobe is often a company I associate with strangely complex products (even if the task is simple and high level), even stranger help systems (convoluted often found from a search engine and not within Adobe itself). Product introductions that come and go without ever reaching production status.

 

Now I have a new Adobe association, strange even absurd or illegal product subscription charges. I canceled the use of a product and the charge was $118.49 Canadian, this is the cost of many products ! Surely this type of practice is illegal.
