I have the same problem. The apps tab is missing.
I’ve followed the instructions from Apps tab missing from Creative Cloud Desktop as well as this thread and still nothing.
I’ve renamed the OOBE folder, killed all the Adobe processes, reinstalled Creative Cloud and there’s still no Configs folder, no ServiceConfig.xml file and no apps tab.

 

What can I do?

Wow. I can't believe this post. This has been going on for years. My annual renewal was last month. My credit card payment was (according to Adobe) declined. Checking with Mastercard I found that they had flagged the transaction with Adobe as suspect, which is why it was declined. I want to note that during this fiasco I was able to use the card elsewhere with no issues. So after speaking with Mastercard and Adobe support, then updating my payment information on my Adobe ID profile a second time, it was again declined. Mastercard advised me that after several 'suspicious' transaction attempts by Adobe the credit card was flagged and had been revoked. A new credit card had to be sent.
Thankfully Adobe support credited my account to keep it from being disabled, now a new credit card has been added to my profile and I'm eagerly awaiting if it will end up being flagged as well.

 

After reading many of these posts this appears to be an ongoing issue (for years now) with Adobe's billing department that seriously needs to be looked at.

I urge you take full advantage of the 60% student discount you're receiving and keep using the software for the remainder of your year.  After graduation, you won't be able to re-subscribe at the student discounted rate.

read the terms and conditions carefully because the black friday subscription deals from adobe i've seen are for first time subscribers, not renewers.

Bonjour,

 

Depuis que j'avais installé Creative Cloud, tout se passait bien.

Mais, depuis peu, Creative Cloud refuse de se positionner conformément à la préférence choisie : "langue des apps = français."

Il reste en anglais, ne propose que les versions anglaises des applications.

Du coup, il a été installer une version anglaise d' In Design 13, et m'a effacé la 12 en français...

 

Je ne vois absolument pas pourquoi Creative Cloud refuse ce basculement vers le français (alors qu'il le faisait sans problème et instantanément à chaque fois, jusqu'ici).

 

Quelqu'un connaît-il la cause et la solution de ce problème ?

Hi Sheena,

 

Contacting any support seems useless and works in a loop that ends with the chat option not working (even at working hours as stated). I want to change my annual membership of all the adobe suite to just illustrator but it seems impossible... Please assist me asap.

Error Updating Illustrator CC

Attempted to update Illustrator CC, got "Update Failed" message. "Learn more" leads to an instruction that a folder already exists (WARN: Target directory already exists: 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2018\Support Files\Contents\Windows'), but I am unable to delete this folder even though I have admin privilege. No CC apps are running. How do I resolve this? This is on a Win10 machine.

Hi,

 

So, I purchased an annual subscription for all creative cloud but now I only need Illustrator. Want to change this on my subscription but apparently it's impossible. First I need to cancel it which is a frustrating endeavor that ends in the chat not working in working hours. From what I've checked, the usual reply is "follow the steps and contact adobe e support" which is understandable BUT DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK AT ALL. So, what can I do?

Im having the same issue all I want to do is put a credit card on my account and not use pay pal. You're saying you have to cancel your account and start a new one just to add a credit card?

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

chose french installations (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/change-installed-language.html)

install your cc programs

Can't do that - next to Illustrator CC, the icon says "Retry", and clicking on the downward-pointing arrow only offers the options to "learn more", "view tutorials" and "other versions". When I look in "Program Files" under "Adobe" I see directories for Illustrator 2017 and 2018. Can't delete either of them though even though I'm the only user of this machine and logged in as Administrator.

Changing membership from complete package to CC photographers

Hi,

if i want to change a membership from a complete CC to a CC for photographers, will i loose all files created in complete CC or will i still have them after changing the membership.
