Lightroom CC moves all of the images in the catalog to the cloud. There could be issues uploading the Photoshop file after it has been saved to your computer. Are you certain you are using Lightroom CC and not Lightroom Classic?

Hi,

 

There's a heap of camera profiles just sitting in my RAM on standby - i don't want / need these and the work i do on my machine is pretty Ram intensive + you really shouldn't spam peoples ram without first asking, Anyway any guides on removing this bloat would be marvelous.

it's happening again. this is the second time.

an issue with payment. I have contacted over chat 3 times. they just told me that the payment will be re-triggered.

 

the bank is fine.

I need help to resolve this. I have only 4 days left for using adobe CC because of this payment problem.

First off let's set the record straight. I have purchased this software package as part of a deal i get from work, we are an educational institution.

The receipt says:  Adobe Creative Cloud for ETLA (Multilanguage)

 

My email to our guy in charge of adobe products (technical coordinator in digital learning:

Software from the Creative Cloud i'll need:

  - Lightroom CC

  - Premiere Pro

  - After Effects

  - InDesign

  - Illustrator

  - Photoshop

  - Acrobat Pro

  - Media Encoder

  - Adobe XD

  - Adobe Audition

  - Animate

  - Adobe Muse

  - Dreamweaver

Spark Premium Features isn't included as I've been told, clearly this was not told to me when i purchased. (6 hours of calls to no prevail, they just kept trying to upsell when i really thought there was a problem their end)

 

Muse has disappeared from my app list and I can't get it back, support weren't able to help me via remote assistance (3 hours of my time wasted). I have also reinstalled creative cloud on a fresh machine and muse wasn't in the list, its a supported app to 2020

 

Lightroom CC on the phone and desktop state my trial has ended, I'm sure it was on the list of Apps I requested and also the website on which i purchased states it is an included app.

 

I can't download the Creative cloud app as it tells me i have no products on my account and wants me to purchase every creative cloud app or hand over my credit card before i can get the creative cloud app. Support were able to give me the link but i shouldn't have to contact them, i should be able to get it form adobe.com

 

The adobe.com website is riddled with bugs and errors about my account been a trial or free and I can't view what program's I'm entitled to, I'm finding this frustrating because i can't compare this list with my purchase list.

 

Acrobat DC says I only have free cloud storage and i should upgrade.

 

I did start a trail on my account before i entered the redemption code, this may ber the problem

 

I would also like to point out when i purchased it said all DESKTOP/WEB/MOBILE APPS AND FUTURE APPS INCLUDED.

I would also like to point out there was NO WAY OF KNOWING ABOUT THESE EXTRA HIDDEN CHARGES

 

I have been told my problem has been escalated and I'll be contacted as soon as possible but i haven't been given an incident number, from my experience I've had with adobe I want to stand in the street handing out pirated copies of the software because whats the use in paying for garbage that doesn't work

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

open the cc app, choose the 3 dots in the upper right corner and then choose Preferences.  in the preferences panel select Creative Cloud and then look for the Install Location drop down and change the install location to a local (non-network/non-external) drive

 

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Have been running Mojave and CC 2018 since early June with few problems. There is the occasional warning that the applications are not optimized for the OS and Bridge's performance seems to have taken a hit, even scrolling through generated thumbnails causes stuttering. Other than that things seems to work well out of the gate.

Hi there.

 

I am also trying to cancel my subscription and as I’m doing so I get a notification that I’ve just been charged for the next period.

 

It is extremely frustrating and seems quite sinister really for Adobe to have deliberately made this so difficult to do.

 

How has this not been fixed? How do you decide who gets reimbursed and who gets canceled if at all?

So Creative Cloud tool is Adobe's own product and "What's new" section under every app is a feature you made yourself. Why can't you provide decent update messages that actually lets people know what new came. For example XD messages are always like "We always improve product and add new features" <--- who does it help??? really? Why do you even add the message if it is so painful to fill it out?

Thank you very much for your response. I have followed your instructions meticulously. Lightroom CC is at the moment working fine.

 

Unfortunately, Photoshop CC still crashes at startup. Example Application Error message:

The instruction at 0x00007FFD3E8465A0 referenced memory at 0x00007FFD3E8465A0. The memory could not be written. Click OK to terminate the program.

 

This happens on average 4 out of 5 times, always at the "Initializing panels ..." stage. It happens when starting Photoshop CC directly and also when opening a photo from Lightroom ("Edit in Photoshop failed. Photoshop could not be opened").
