1) I'm in the UK - the email link from Adobe appeared to take me to North America
2) I've had a different experience this time around and managed to successfully update my payment details.
The route that worked for me was:
1) Logged in to: https://creative.adobe.com/apps
2) Clicked the link 'My Account' top right to: http://www.adobe.com/go/cc_manage_act ---> https://www.adobe.com/account.html
3) On My Adobe page followed link to'My subscriptions and services' --> https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html#MyServicesHead er
And from there it was easy to edit my subscription and update my card details.
