the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b) click to close the application

I get this message when trying to open premiere from creative cloud.  Just purchased it.  Took CS3 out of my computer first, then downloaded.  Also downloaded an update today and installed that.  Rebooted.

My system specs are:

windows 7 home premium 64bit (6.1, Build 7601)

gateway

DX4860

bios date 08/01/11 14:16:44 Ver: 04.06.04

Intel(r) Core(tm) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz

8192MB RAM

page file 2097MB used, 14255MB available
