1: Photoshop just launches as it already did before. You will notice no difference at all.
2: The files will still be there.
To clarify - if you sign up for an annual subscription then you will pay for the 2 months you are away. The annual subscription lasts for one year.
You are allowed two activations - so you can activate on up to two computers. Chosing to deactivate does not mean you are not charged for that month.
