The issue with products reverting to trial is one which has been happening for awhile and there are many different possible underlying causes, many of the causes have been fixed.
I looked at the thread you referenced and the cause in that situation is different than yours.
My recommendation in your situation would be to ensure that the install language for Illustrator CS6 and Photoshop CS6 are both set to English (International), reinstall may be necessary

I'd also recommend ensuring all product updates are installed through Adobe Application Manager. If you continue to have difficulties after trying these steps please contact our support.
