I am using the Creative Cloud Packager to build deployment packages for the new Adobe CC release.  However, I am running into a build failure on both Windows 7 and MacOS 10.8 platforms.  Both appear to be failing after the download and during the build process at the same stage: unpacking the ACCCx181 package. Logs for both are pasted below.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll look into it some more. I'll probably just install a clean copy of windows and see if that fixes the issue. Never really  had a problem like this before so unsure how to problem solve if my SSd's are acting up or not.

Graham,

 

Both options are possible, Lightroom 4 is a part of Creative cloud membership so either you can download from there or download the trial and activate it.

Same here too. Same stupid error. Not to mention that I manage to downalod and install Creative application for desktop, but when I am trying to connect it says Unknown Server Error.

 

To make it easy for you, by the time it was doing update I was running InDesign and Safari was opened. However, as you will see in first screenshot posted by Ryan, there is nothing mentioning that the error is due to using any of those applications.

 

What is most frustrating that on my other MAC had installed perfect and my wife could log in with her account.

 

 

So, SOLVE IT FAST.

P.S.

 

I downloaded ApplicationManager7.0_all.dmg as suggested. I installed it and then I tried to open Adobe Aplication Manager. Instead it opened Creative Cloud which returned same error when I entered my log in details.

They can still have CS6 application as a part of their download.

on download page www.creative.adobe.com they need to select CS6 application from drop down.

Was able to fix this after doing a live chat with adobe.

 

Had to remove the opm.db file and reiinstall the application manager and everything worked

i was hoping to do 1 download of the 4 applications i need, make a package, then install using the package onto their machines and activate the products/applications via a cloud account.

 

i dont really want to be doing 40+ downloads

That's right, please follow the instruction mentioned above. Start downloading any product and cancel it then copy that link on the same browser in a new tab. Very important step

You must be on a trial download page to use the links, otherwise you get an error message.

For example, load the following page: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements &loc=us

Previously in Dreamweaver CS6, XSLT was among the list of options for new document types — but that seems to have been done away with in Dreamweaver CC.  How do we add additional document types to the new dialogue box?  Additionally, Adobe removed the Command option to apply an XSLT template to an XML document.  Sorta makes it tough to test an XSLT template against XML without that option. 

 

Did Adobe just all-out abandon support for XSLT/XML document formatting or am I missing something in terms of adding back that support?

Hi there.  I'm sure the question has already been asked...but I can't seem to find the best answer to following question.

 

Do I need to uninstall my Adobe CS6 Master Collection off my MacBookPro?  OR will AdobeCC automatically detect that I already have the software and will update accordingly?

 

I'm trying to avoid having multiple versions of software on my machine.  Any guidance would be appreciated.

The download goes on for a long time, then when I click in the Windows security confirmation dialog, the download speeds up and the installation fails. I've tried this twice. What do I need to do?

UPDATE: Tech support did not bother replying to my question but I see the question was answered elsewhere, via providing a direct link for the download. This worked for me.
