Exit Code: 176, Can't install certain apps after HDD replaced

Hello,

 

I run Windows 10 and Adobe CC on my sdd, but install all of my adobe apps on my hdd. My hdd recently crashed and I replaced it with a new one. Ever since I replaced my hdd, I haven't been able to install Photoshop CC or Illustrator CC on either my SSD or new HDD. All other apps install just fine. I get the same error when attempting to install either programs:

I tried removing all Adobe products using the uninstall tool and adobe cc cleaner tool, then reinstalling several times with no luck.

 

Anyone have similar issues or know how to fix this? Thanks.

I can have the sine waves done outside the program the best (or should see easiest) i have found is the processing language

I even did not receive a cancellation option in the mail that says i'll be renewed... This must be context of a joke...

Does this work:

CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION NOW!

Hi PrettyFlyForAShyGuy,

 

My apologies for the inconvenience caused. I would suggest you to check your machine's compatibility with CC 2017 version apps.

Photoshop system requirements

System requirements | Adobe Creative Cloud

 

If this is fine then please check if your Adobe folders have complete Read and Write permissions.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

C:\ProgramData\Adobe

 

Also make sure that there is no Adobe entries in host file. If there are any Adobe entries then delete them.

 

You will find Host file here: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Hi justin.joson,

 

I understand that you are facing issues while installing Photoshop and Illustrator.

 

If you notice, you get a location with the error.

 

"WARN: target folder 'E:\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017\Required\PDF\Settings' does not exist"

 

Please go to this location E:\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 and rename this folder to Adobe Photoshop CC 2017.old

 

 

"WARN: target folder 'C:\Users\Jos\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator\21.0.0' does not exist"

 

Go to this location and rename Adobe Illustrator to Adobe Illustrator.old

 

 

Please retry the installation and it should be fine then. let me know if this works or if any further assistance is required. Thanks!

The issue is those locations don't exist.

 

1) For photoshop error, I no longer have a drive E:, so that's completely gone and I'm not sure why its targeting that drive/folder when my current install preferences are pointing to my new HDD drive D:.

 

2) For illustrator when i locate C:\Users\Jos\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\, there is no illustrator folder. It doesn't exist either.

The Outline in mu Illustrator didn't shown right

Hello,

 

I'm trying to make Outline to object in my Illustrator CC using Pathfinder and then select Outline, but get bad result. Please see the following pic (it's two rectangles). Is it a bug? How to fix it?:

Furthmore: When I try to remake the HP Logo, I reconstract the HP logo and mark the outside frame and the "P" letter and press Minus Fron in Pathfinder, all the Logo Delete delete except the the upper of the "P" letter. Why is that? Is it a bug?

Apps are not starting!!! - Licensing problem?!

Hey there,

 

I wanted to start my illustrator CC 2017 (and other apps)...suddenly a window popped up and told me something about a "sign in" is necessary because my version has to be licensed! Why is that? Yesterday it worked! Anyway...I signed...next window popped up "thank you version will be licensed now..." but then the first window popped up again. So, I am not able to start any app!!!

 

Is there anybody who knows the problem and how to fix this? Because today the support is not available for a chat or a phone call!!

Typekit - How do you know which plan to use to access fonts?

Hello,

I'm a newbie to typkeit and I've read all the forums and help sections for answers but I can't see this one. The two fonts I need to use in PS are not available in the Typekit free portfolio plan I have as part of CC, I assume this means I need to upgrade to a paid plan. However, how do I know that the font I need is actually included under these plans? When I search the list on typkit website I can't see these fonts at all and I don't want to pay for an upgrade if the fonts aren't available (Avenir and Playfair).

 

I've emailed help several days ago and heard nothing back, it's REALLY urgent now.

How do I uninstall EVERYTHING Adobe and start over?

This is ridiculous. I'm over an hour into trying to get Adobe Captivate to work. It wouldn't download. I got it to download. Of course it crashes on launch now. Creative Cloud isn't working. I delete and reinstall. I've cleared my OOBD library. I've rebooted 4 times. I download Adobe Application Manager it doesn't work. I get told to download Adobe Support Advisor. I believe programmers call this a circular reference.

 

I've NEVER SEEN A MORE JACKED UP PROCESS.

 

How do I delete absolutely EVERYTHING Adobe and start over with a clean install? I'm on Mac Sierra 10.12.3

I think you got that wrong - i prepaid the full year, but thats not the main issue -

ive already removed anything, the thing is that it doesn't let me click the "restart subscription" button in my settings, and just reloads the page instead.

I'll probably have to contact a support member via chat since it seems to be a scripting issue.

I've been at this now for over 2-hours. I've deleted EVERYTHING Adobe. I

reinstalled Creative Cloud and signed in. Here's what CC Cleaner shows:

When I try to install Captivate I almost immediately get this dialog:

I've tried installing by double-clicking the install icon. I've tried

installing by opening the package and running the MacOS version from

Terminal as the image above shows.

 

I've rebooted. I've deleted Creative Cloud. I've re-installed. I've

cleaned. I have a late 2013 Macbook Pro with 16 GB of RAM and 42 GB of SSD

space running the latest version of Sierra 10.12.3

 

What am I missing? This shouldn't be so difficult.
