Nitin, I had some questions see below in red -
Item #3.2 - This is the note on my screen -
Unable to connect -
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at
lm.licenses.adobe.com.
- The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in
a few moments.
- If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
- If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy,
make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Then, when I go to the solution under windows, I get lost - Windows
1. Locate the hosts file.
2. Click Start, click Run, type "%systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc" and
then click OK.
3. Right-click the file which file there are many shown and select Open.
Select Notepad for the application to open the hosts file is this what
the file is called? I did not see it.
4. Save a backup of the file. Choose File > Save As. Name the file
hosts.backup and click OK.
5. Look for any entries that refer to activate.adobe.com and delete
these entries. For example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com and delete this
entry.
6. Save the file and close it.
