How do I disable or trash the CS6 installed on my computer to switch to CC?
I don't plan to use the CS6 any longer because I want to upgrade to the most recent OS on my Mac, and haven't been able to because the newer OS screws with my Adobe product functioning. I am finally ready to give up the ghost and join the Cloud, and want to do it in the cleanest way possible. I don't want to keep the CS6 on my computer if I don't have to, to free up space.
Unlocking AAM Updater Logs
I work off of a Macbook Pro. I recently went through my Time Machine backups and was deleting some backups that were very old. Long story short, to get them to delete from Trash in Finder, I had to manually go through and unlock all the files so they could be deleted. A file titled "aamui.log" in a folder titled "AAM Updater" cannot be unlocked because I do not have permission to make changes, nor can I add myself as a user with access to the files. To complete emptying my trash, I must unlock this file. AAM is the Adobe Applications Manager.
My question: How do I get this file unlocked?

You can use a combination of file syncing via the Creative Cloud desktop application and folder collaboration via the CC Assets site at https://assets.adobe.com to achieve collaboration on a single document.
The CC Assets site allows you to do Send Link for files and folders, which is a read-only public link. But you can also use Collaboration and give someone write access to the folder.
Now with that said you will need to use the Comments feature or some other method to not step on each other's changes. As one of you makes a change to a local file on your computer the change will sync up to the Creative Cloud and then sync back down to the other person's local file. You cannot lock a file.
From the file's 1-up page you can see the Version History and Restore to a previous version if needed.
Forced Auto Renewal devistating for students
In 2015 I got a Creative Cloud plan for students for 15.99 on the promotion it read ONE YEAR SERVICE. Seeing how I was taking Photoshop and Dreamweaver for two semesters I thought it was a good buy. The plan ended in October and unbeknownst to me that it doesn't go to month to month but renews the one year subscription at $30/ month. I noticed the charge a couple days ago when I received an e-mail IN MY JUNK MAIL that I was charged $30. When I tried to cancel it online they said I need to pay a $120 cancellation fee. I just got off the phone with their customer "care" department where my options were either to pay the $120 or either pick for a $20 or a $10 option where the contract renews all over again. The $10 is Photoshop only. Also, I have to remember to cancel it again in November or it renews all over again. I kept telling the guy I no longer use the software, but he insisted I take one of the options. I WANT TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION!!!!!!!

The first thing you need to do is deactivate cs6 by opening one of the apps and choosing deactivate via the help options. After that you can deinstalled if you like, but the software is now disabled in any case.

Exporting - ISSUES with the video if only exporting pieces of content vs whole sequence
One thing the video does not help with is this: You need to look to the left bottom and see SOURCE RANGE and turn from the In/Out default (or I think it is the default - Aamir Khan at the help desk decided to be disrespectful 3 x and refused to answer any question - just kept pointing to a video that DID NOT solve the problem) to the correct setting - ENTIRE SEQUENCE if you are not rending the whole sequence.
Hope that helps someone save the 7 hours I spent today on my vacation day to try to solve repeated issues with a software in serious need of better help tools. Not knocking MOST of Creative Cloud - it's slick and pretty intuitive. But these little quirks don't get covered, and the repeated use of the help desk to point me back to videos I already watched - where no answer is available - is frustrating at best.
unable to upload Lightroom on another computer
My computer crashed so I uploaded Lightroom on my new computer. After signing in Adobe it is asking me to pay again for Lightroom. Not sure whats going on or if I have to pay for it to be on multiple devices.

Adobe Experience Design CC (Beta) doesn't appear in Creative Cloud
I have Windows 10, I tried checking for updates, and I tried restarting Creative Cloud but Adobe Experience Design doesn't appear for download. Anyone know of a solution to this?
