Downloading EOS 5d sr files

Could someone advise me please?

I currently subscribe to Photoshop CC and have no problem downloading files from my 5d ii. However, having purchased a 5d sr I am unable to download files into lightroom. I have version 5.7.1 and apparently have the latest updates available. However, it would appear that I need version 6, is this correct and is this available via Photoshop CC? I made my purchase from Wilkinsons in Carlisle but unfortunately they were unable to advise.

photoshop and lightroom are different programs.

 

if you have a subscription to ps you should be able to update its cr to use your camera with it.  but that doesn't mean you can update lr 5 to use your camera with lr 5.

 

you need lr6 or lr cc to use your camera with lr.

I'm getting the same problem as well. Any fixes yet? This is really annoying as I have to submit work to a client this weekend.

Good evening,

I have a question. I am part of a lovely small school magazine with the name "Wazup". We are releasing one edition every 6 months. For designing the articles we use Adobe Indesign CS 2, which we bought quite some time ago. This product is, of course, no longer updated, so we try to update to a newer version. That is why I am asking if there is still a possibility to buy Indesign (and Photoshop) in a non-monthly payment way, because our school will spare some money to improve our magazine, but is not willing to give it for a monthly payment service.  As a non-profit school magazine, we also have not a lot of money, so again, Is there a cheap way to buy Indesign in a newer version, which isn't based on that new Creative Cloud Monthly System, like the old versions?

According to what I read in a forum message, Mac newer than 10.7 must subscribe to the Cloud instead of CS6... and someone with Win10 must also subscribe to the Cloud since CS6 is not compatible (meaning the sales person will ask your operating system and will not sell you CS6 if it won't run on your computer... I don't know if that means only Win7 and you may not buy if you have Win8)

I just downloaded the latest version.

 

A little more research indicates that it works fine as long as the file is resident on my machine - but I get the error when I try to open file on my external drive.

Sadly, this almost makes me feel better that I'm not the only one.

 

I've used adobe products with creative cloud for a little over a year. Like others, I signed up for a year contract at a certain rate. Through the whole process there was ZERO mention of auto renewal, I even checked the order which simply stated that i was purchasing a year of membership. All of a sudden my monthly amount doubled. I should have taken this as a red flag, but I was busy with school. I contacted customer service this last week to let them know that I no longer wished to have their service. I figured that my rate had increased because I was as just paying month to month following my year membership expiration. I was informed that I was autorenewed. WHAT?! I sent the customer service individual I was talking with the order confirmation that I received that clearly stated that I had purchased a year membership. And surprise! No mention of auto renewal. Not even a see terms and conditions disclaimer. He essentially shrugged me off and said it is clearly stated in terms and conditions blah blah blah. He gave me three months free and would do no more. After reading various forums on this issue, I checked out the terms and conditions. Definitely fine printed about auto renewal. Adobe has always been my go to for graphics projects. I. Am. Done. I don't want to deal with these money hounds any more. My view if Adobe has done a 180. No notification of potential auto renewal. And really, they breach their own terms and conditions by not notifying me of the cost change in my up coming renewal. They are dirty. They are underhanded. I will never ever speak their name in positivity again to anyone. Can't wait until I can leave these guys in the dust. Unfortunately, I have to pay twice as much to wait for a year to kick them to the curb. Adobe found a perfect way to make enemies to their brand. Congrats. *slow clap*

I have also dl the new photo shop 2016 version to have the trial end after the first use, boom ....your trial has ended! I was about to test it on my new drawing display, so am I out of luck?  Should'nt you still get 30 days on a trial? so basically I was pissed and uninstalled it. Low and behold i get a email 29 days later saying your trial has ended? dude.

I wanted to test the new PHOTOSHOP 2017 version and dl ed the trial program, used it once, and it said "your trial has expired", after one use. Got pissed and uninstalled it. Hoever I recieved an email 29 days later saying "your trial has ended"..am I out of luck? registry error from previous trials of older versions? I love so much Adobe!!

Hello yes I have been trying to get a hold of support or customer service to cancel my plan before today my renewal date and I just keep getting the run around. I would like to cancel my product for Adobe Photoshop for $9.99 a month today plz with no longer debits to my account.

Please post the name of the program you use so a Moderator may move this message to the correct program forum

This forum is not about help with specific programs... a program would be Photoshop or Dreamweaver or Muse or ???

Dec 15 2016 update Lightroom CC 2015.8

I did the update of Lightroom Dec 15th. Since then if I click on any photo, everything else goes black within the lightroom module. The menu bars, the Navigator panels, the stip along the bottom, I mean everything. If I minimize Lightroom, the bring it back to normal size on my 27" iMac(fall 2013 edition), then everything looks normal again. But click any photo and everything around the photos goes black again. The photo library doesn't disappear, I can always see the photos, but everything else goes black. I'm just trying at this minute to click a photo to drag to another album, when I click the photo, everything goes black and I can't see any albums. Should I uninstall, I've never seen anything like this. I'd screen capture and show you if i could post photos of it. It doesn't matter what module that I'm in. Click the photo and everything around the photos in the lightroom module goes black.
